Awsome work, Agustín!
Very much enjoyed the photos and makes me feel what i'm doing in the home now... Arose me technical question too - you have very large 23" prints available - did you use large or medium format photography then? Or just 35mm equipment with technical (ISO25-64) film to get large detailed prints? Cheers, Margus |
Simply Beautifull.

Great pictures need working on, and you have really worked on 'em... A splendid portfolio from a seriously challenging and emotive environment, enhanced by great composition and dramatic lighting. Thanks for re-igniting the joys of black and white too! Thanks Margus.
I shoot with 35mm under 100asa. That range of Black and white film is forgiving when you blow it up to a max of 16X20 on traditional silver gelatin printing. The very large prints are Gicleé digital prints on fiber paper. I can get them at fine rsolution to that size by drum-scanning the negs. Quote:

Hello Nitsuga,
Very impressive work indeed. The picture called "Thaffassasset, the great empty" reminds me of a great stretch of the hamada in Libya I once crossed on the way to Derj. You can see it on a google sat map here: http://tinyurl.com/ayokn and my picture of the place is here: http://tinyurl.com/atasy [This message has been edited by Roman (edited 04 October 2005).] |
What a great site! This inmense spaces are sublime. I hope I can go to Libya in the very near future.
