re: overland into mauritania
 

We (two people) are in Morocco, and were thinking of travelling overland into Mauritania. We already have visas, and may fly, but would prefer to hitch a ride from Dakhla. If we were to camp in Dakhla at the end of September/start of October, any comment on the amount of traffic travelling at this time of year, and the likelihood of hooking up with a ride? Or if anyone is planning a similar trip and looking to share costs please give us an e-mail.

I would have thought there is a good chance of you getting a ride out of Dakhla within a week.
