Road to Timtuktu from Mopti
 

Does anyone have upto date info on the road to Timbuktu from Mopti. I heard rumours that it had been washed out at the end of last year. Are the local trucks using it again??

I travelled by 4WD from Timbuktu to Mopti in mid-January 2004, and the road was quite passable in a 4WD.
