Route R10 Sahara overland
 

Plotting the GPS coordinates the other day there seems to be an error on route R10.
On the first 16 points changing W11 to W12 seems to make things more likely.

If Chris is reading this have you thought about making a CD of routes in printable formats so that I don't have to take your rather lovely (and heavy!!) book with me or laboriusly copy out the routes.

Well spotted Andy, I take it your Xmas calendar is running on Advanced Fijian Time, I'll add it to the many annoying typos I've noticed too. It's amazing how they jump out at you from all sides once a print out becomes a bound book. They will be corrected in the first reprint.

In the meantime, I will maintain a list at sahara-overland.com/typos
so if anyone finds more, please check there and send in new ones.

I agree it's a bit of a brick but no small publisher would want to pdf useful,parts of an expensive guidebook - even for a small fee. Once it's in a digital format it would get around...
Anyway, what's wrong with the office photocopier! (the hardback spine can hack it better than a pb)

Just published my first book, know what you mean about publishers!! (www.plymouth-dakar.com)I lost count of the number of proof copies I had to plough through.

The binding does appear extraordinarily tough. Good book, well constructed.
