Share guide Algeria-Mali january 2008
 

We are driving down through Algeria in one 4WD, taking a boat from Italy january 8th and aiming to arrive in Bamako at the end of the month. Anybody going the same way and want to share guide?
Planning to drive through Tamanrasset and then direct Mali or via Niger depending on advice when in T.

PS. U need to decide SOON if U want to join!

Aim to do the same but a month ahead of you. There were a few of us on here about 2 months ago .. all planning the same, one was 'Tunde' someone ..

I'm thinking about the same route but a little earlier - end of December (beginning of January) since I have some time constrains .... what about your route back to Tunisa ? I can postpone a departure but not significantly ....

I am supposed to go the budapest-bamako race at that time, but wondering to do this trip instead since i have done the western route before.
