Hi,

I was in Algeria for 2 weeks in March/April this year for a quick trip by 4x4 to Tessalit and then back home by plane from Tam.
I had no problems, noticable security measures were about the same I knew from 2003.
No agressions or thelike. Checkpoints were passed quickly except the first at the Gendarmerie at Taleb Larbi.
The weekend I returned from Algeria by plane they were the bombings in Algier.

Algeria 2007

If Feb. 2007 is recently , we made a very nice trip in Algeria : from Taleb Larbi to Djanet and In Guezzam .
No problem ; Controls were almost easy ( except in Zaoutenlaz : waiting for 1 hour due to problem with the papers of our guide , I think )
Have a nice trip .

Algerie

Hi!
In the beginning of April I arrived to Algerie, through Agadez, Niger, and travelled from Guazam to Tamanrasset, to Djanet (pist - a great experience) - crossed back west (also pist) and followed the Old Hoggar Route, up to In Salah - Ghardaia, and excit through El Oued.

Its a fantastic diversed country, and the people were really good.

- Thank you everybody in North Africa who made my (mostly) solo journey with a "moto" possible and memorable.

Ps. Not to forget the Irish brothers in a Discovery who carried my much needed extra fuel in the Sahara. Thanks.

Cheers
