Information for ferry crossings that may be useful;

costs of all ferry crossings evidenty rose last month -- on a whim according to local travel agent,
88 euro for car and 33 per person;
double in other words.
price varies by E10 between Terifa and Algeciras;

also -- all CEUTA motor insurance closed:
you can only get temporary insurance at tangiers in the port;

so i recommend TERIFA to TANGIERS crossing;


Terifa to Tangier ferrys were all cancelled when we crossed 5 days ago due to unseasonal bad weather. ie wind rain rain rain;
However i definitely recommend staying at terifa, great place;
especially EL BEATERIO, Plaza del Angel Tel 956 680924, a true bohemian home.
