Travelling in Libya alone
 

I plan to go to Libya this summer and hope to stay there for a good while. I am travelling alone and don't really know what to expect. I have the lonely planet guide, but it does'nt tell you everything. How possible is it for a long term stay in the country, will I have problems traveling alone, and should I be put off by all the backpacking restrictions there seem to be?

Tourist Visa is valid for 1 month and can be extended in LY two times to a max. of 3 months.
