UK License disc
 

I'll be travelling in Morocco when my UK vehicle license disc expires in August(tax disc?).

The DVLR say they cannot issue a new disc more than 6 months in advance.

What can I do? Has anyone else overcome this problem?

Yor road tax is due only when you drive in the UK. Get a new disk as soon as you unpack your bags and they can't blame you for flaunting the law.

I came back in earlier in the year with the disc expired and not a problem. As long as they understand you have just come back in and your not planning driving around and leaving it. Just watch where you park before your renew it as harder to sort out if you get a ticket then have to chase it through.
