Valencia/Barcelona to Tunis

Hello

Can any one inform me about ferrys from Valencia/Barcelona to Tunis.

One other possibility would be passing in the ferry to Argel and then drive to Tunisia.

We will be leaving from Portugal to Libya in the end of July and we are trying to shortening the asphalt kms. Driving to Marselha will be time consuming and not interesting for this kind of trip.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

B regards

I think that your options with passenger ferries are either from Genova to Tunis or from Marseille/Sete to some place in Algeria and continue overland from there to Tunisia. Cargo ferries taking passengers I don't know about.

Check Traghetti, its kinda Mediterranean ferry central.

Ferries to Tunis

Hi there,

best option is the CTN boat from Marseille to Tunis. It's about a 24hr crossing on a comfortable boat and the food's good. You can get all your customs/immigration business done on board, so as soon as you land you just need to change money, buy insurance (if you need it) and you're on your way.

Good Luck!

thanks to all

the really question is that I want to reduce the tarmac kms in europe.

since I'm leaving from Portugal valencia/ barcelona would be closer then marselha.

the the crossing distance is not much bigger

Noticed in the latest Tourenfahrer (the German moto mag.) that there is a ferryline from Alicante to Algeria. Not so far from Valencia - you might want to check that out.

Cheers, Kari

You can take a ferry from Barcellona to Genova and then from Genova to Tunisi.
Grimaldi Line has ferries on both routes, maybe you can get a discount for the whole trip...

Can any one confirm me in what days there are Ferrys from Marselha to Tunes?

Ferries information from the web sites seems to be a very difficult subject to confirm... is it just for me?

B regards from Portugal
