Who's based in Egypt?

Got someone currently living in Egypt who wants to drive to SA who has a few questions about vehicles:

Basically they can see 3 options:

- buy a car in Egypt: very expensive + left hand drive (import into SA not allowed?)
- buy a new car in Egypt (RHD, tax free for 6 months): will I be able to import it in SA (see below)?
- import a used RHD car (UK or Japan) to Egypt (RHD, tax free with triptik for 6 months): will I be able to import it in SA, as I will not be the first owner?
- import a used car from SA (RHD, tax free in Egypt with triptik for 6 months):

Anyone in Egypt who can give this guy a hand/answer some of their questions?
