wind in the western sahara
Hye,
There's a crazy strong wind near Nouadhibou nowdays, blowing roughly from the North... It's seems that my moped won't make it on the road to Agadir as it's no enough poowerfull to battle the wind. I don't go faster than 35 or 40 km/hour, throttle full open!!! Does anyone knows where does that crazy wind get quiet? I'm really sad I have to do this part in a lorry, but wind added to the flying sand makes it too hard... Maybe some one is going northward those days , and could pick my bike in is car/truck? Thanks for your help, vince http://africanmoped.over-blog.com |
A very steady wind of about 10 m/s blows along this coast line for most months during the summer. It is driven by the Azores High pressure which is a semi-permanent feature.

Sorry to hear about your wind problem Vince!
As the Irish say "may the wind always be at your back!" If only this was true in your case. Grit your teeth ( sorry for the pun) and keep smiling, hope this message did. Cheers, Andy |
