York air compressor
Hi all,
For tyre inflation in my Landcruiser HDJ80, I'm fitting a engine-driven York SC209 Super-compact air compressor. Has anyone done this installation before? Are there any funny thread sizes or fittings that I should be aware of? Rgds, Roman |
Almost all installations will require a quick visit to your local machining shop to make adaptors from the stock York threads to the standard ¼” or 3/8” air tools thread. Buy the airline hardware first and take it with the compressor to the machines shop and tell them what to do.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out. PS: Did you check the Vehicle mounted air compressors thread? We talk about Yorks a bit. http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000016.html ------------------ A.B. www.ShortWheelbase.com [This message has been edited by A.B. (edited 11 July 2002).] |
