If you have a tent, there are three county parks with tent and RV sites, Cameron County Parks. Tent sites are $15. Isla Blanca Park is right at the south end of South Padre Island.

Port Isabel Marina & RV has tent sites for $20 and Rio Mobile Home & RV Park, 956-831-4653, has them for $22.
