Canada Ontario noise issue
 

There is a group in the Parry Sound Area trying to shut down motorized events in the area. This will include next year (2014) HU event in Parry Sound. If you live in Ontario maybe send a letter or join the FB page and try and stop this. Here is the link

Ravinerat, is there someplace where both sides of the issue are presented without partisan bickering? Plus maybe a bit of history, offered calmly? I'm interested, but don't want to bother wading through a lot of inflammatory stuff, the validity of which I'm not really qualified to judge.

I find it odd that they would shut down a meeting, even if those that are there ride a motorcycle.

Actual events like racing etc I can maybe see where that can be an issue, not only with bikes but cars/trucks as well. I read the article and it doesn't seem to apply to a Hubb event, but I could be wrong.

I'm sure somebody in Ontario will check it out.
