Insurance on the border,?????
 

hola from hot stinking costa rica,

anybody now, I'll cross the border ( april-may 2012) from mexico to USA,south of phoenix,
(nogales- heroica) can I buy a motorcyle insurance for some months on the border,
or is it not neccesary to have one,
I mean nobody 'll ask by bordercrossing for this,

Try Progressive on line, the only company we found to insure us.
We have crossed at Algadones = nice quiet crossing but no bank for the cert refund. Douglas = reasonably busy but if you head for the Banjercito - it's next to the Entry point and has safe parking. When you ride back to the US bound queue you can cut to the front by turning left after the traffic lights.

Nogales gets mucho busy.
