Internet access between Montana and Alaska

A crazy black lady is headed out solo from montana to fairbanks on a honda valkerie after stops in 47 other states. Her laptop has died and she does't think she wil be able to access the internet. Does anybody have a link to a list of cyber cafes on the alaska highway? She is doing this ride as a fund raiser. Check it out at, Posey foundation.

I don't have any lists of cyber cafes but I know that the libraries in BC have computers and internet access .
Also check the HU communities .
Good luck

At nearly campground we saw that had wi-fi they had a small computer set up that you could access the internet via for a small fee. In fact we went this year and I found that wi-fi access to the net was much more widespread then cell service for the phones.

As Dodger says for B.C. the same goes for Alberta. Virtualy every library has internet access in addition to the cyber cafes. An additional source of access is to stop into a modest but modern hotel and ask if you can use their customer access computer.

The US does not have an abundance of internet cafes, but every public library offers free access.

internet access

Almost every truck stop ( Garage with diner for 18 wheelers with deisel pumps) has a couple of tables and/or computers with internet jacks available. Just stop where there's lots of truck parked and the food will be good as well.
