Motorcycle License - NYC
 

Hi everyone, I am in NYC, I already have a D class drivers license and was wondering of getting a motorcycle license too. Does anyone know of any place where I can rent a bike or a scooter to take the DMV road test?

You really should take a course if you are not an experienced rider. The cost of the Beginners rider course includes getting your licence and they provide the bikes. Well worth it for the things you didn't know that you didn't know

My son took a motorcycle driving course offered at the local community college. The cost was about $400 which included in class instruction and a riding instruction on motorcycle (250 c.c.). Since you already ride a bike, you should have no problem passing the test. Once you complete the course successfully, you will be given a certificate, which you take to the local DMV (Department/Division of Motor Vehicles), and get your license with further testing. The course lasts a few days to a week.
