North or south of the Great Lakes
Hi all, any ideas about the most interesting way this spring, from Duluth Minnesota to London Ontario, I won't be in a great hurry and I do not like the big highways also if anyone knows of any good diners and bars en route I will be very grateful. Ride safe.

From Duluth I'd go North around the lakes, dropping into the UP (a must) of Michigan and then back to go round the rest of the North side of the lakes, much prettier than the South and far less congested.
Reasonable amount of places to stay and if you get to the UP go to Paradise, it is. |
Thanks Guys, but what on earth is a UP? Ride safe.

Upper Peninsula, hence the UP. A person from the UP is a Yooper, but be careful who you use that term with, as some take that to mean a hick or hillbilly. Lots of great motorcycle riding in the UP, at least in the summer, in winter you use a snowmobile. |
Thanks Andy, we live and learn. (sometimes)
