Regulations longterm parking
 

Does anybody know if we can leave our car with Swiss number plates in the US, Canada or Mexiko (with a valid 12 month Temporary Import Certificate) while we're leaving the respective countries for a few weeks or months?

Who is going to notice? Just don't mention it when leaving or re-entering the country.

no one in the US will care.

park where?

. not as in what block or in what city.
pay to park costs. the garage will not care as long as bill is paid.
long term airport is cheapest. but can be theft/damage prone.
at someones house off street. just back in.
as long as the tax has been paid residential parking is ok, but some city's want cages moved every couple days. or get a ticket.
