Shipping a LandRover from Alaska to Siberia?
 

My husband and I are planning a rtw trip starting in the UK from April 2003. We will cross the USA, Canada and Alaska. We would like to ship our vehicle across the Bering Strait / sea to Siberia - has anyone ever done this / or could anyone advise us? Thanks. Sandy

At last word it can't be done - LOTS of motorcycle travellers have tried. Ther eUSED to be an air freight method for bikes, but it's now gone.

If you DO hear anything or are successful, please let us know.

Sorry for the bad news, but this is one of those less - travelled routes for a reason - there just aren't many people doing it.

The usual is to Japan from Vancouver, and on from there to Russia is easy.
