Hi,

Pardon my ignorance but can anyone let me into the secret of what spanner / wrench sizes are used on American machines, bikes or cars. In Britian we use 3 main types: Imperial, metric and Whitworth... will any of my British tools be of use in the US?

Imperial and metric. Whitworth is only old British bikes and cars.
