Temporary Export Question
 

I shipped my bike to Kazakhstan 3 months ago where I temporarily imported it. I'm now in Spain with the bike and considering leaving it here for a year or two until I return. Is there a time limit to how long the bike can be outside of the US? If the bike has been outside of the US for a certain period of time am I forced to permanently export the bike? I can still renew registration even though it's not in the US, correct?

You also need to check the laws in Spain.

For example in the UK you can only keep the vehicle for 6 months before it has to be registered. Fail to do that and it will be uninsured among other charges which will get the vehicle seized on the spot
