Who were those riders north of Seattle???
 

On Sunday July 15 just north of Seattle (in Washington state), I spotted two riders heading south on I-5. They had large orange plastic(looking) saddlebags which first attracted my notice. When we pulled up next to them, they had a graphic printed on the bags showing what appeared to be a round-the-world trip. It showed the globe and a wavy dark line along the continents.

The mere sight of them thrilled me to my toes and it was with supreme frustration that I could do nothing more than give them a very enthusiastic thumbs-up as we rode briefly beside them.

Does anyone know who these riders were? I would love to get a message to them.

It might be Sverrir Porsteinsson from Iceland. They had orange cases and were coming down from Alaska about that time period. Round the world - 2007 - XT660R - Fréttir They recently arrived home after a 90 day trip around the world.
