Almaty to Barnaul
 

Hello,

I'm actually to Tashkent. I took my time to reach here, but now I have to go little fast because my wife will arrive in UB (Mongolia) on August 23.....

How is the road from Almaty to Barnaul, and how long do you think that could take?

Road is mostly good except Roadworks.
I did it with a Bike in 2 days

You did it in 2 days? How many kilometers ?

We rode Rubtovsk to Almaty in two days last week. 1,278kms. Lot's of roadworks between Almaty and Kaldykorgon but pretty much good road other than that.

Lots of road works Around in Kazakhstran in general - massive road improvement schemes going on - I rode from Astana to Pavlador on Saturday and plenty most of the time on temporary "roads" along side brand new tarmac
