Anyone left a motorcycle in Mongolia for extended period?
 

Hi all, I'm going to leave my bike in Mongolia for 10-12 months then return to continue riding. From looking at the customs website it looks possible but a little unclear on the cost? Anyone done this recently?

Not me.

But I know some people who have done that.

maybe contact River Point Lodge there for help.
I know that some have done it there at the former Oasis camp, which the old owner is now at River Point

Thanks for the info. I stayed at oasis in 2014, I guess it has changed hands?

End 2013 the owners sold it, and then in the following years most of the employees left.

Now the River Point is for me the new Oasis, it is mad by the people who built the oasis.
And usually they are a good address to help overlanders.
