I'm preparing for my journey across Russia, the 'stans and Mongolia. My question is what is the best (offline) android translation app?

Just use Google Translate, it incorporates the WordLens app now too.

Does Google translate work offline? It doesn't seem to for me...

Hi, And do you think it's the same for French/Russian translation?
Has anybody used it, and how useful is it?

Google translate is a super app. Especially if you download the dictionary and use the 'speech' option. Works damn well. You can not downoad all languages ( mongolian wasn't available last year), but the ones that are, work great!

So last night I downloaded the app. It really is crazy good. I am currently working in Syria and the Arabic voice is working well with my peeps!
