Bike now illegal in Kazakhstan
 

Im wondering if any of you legends can help me with this one.

I left a motorbike in Aktobe, Kaz last August. The customs document for the bike was only for 3 months so its well overstayed that by now. I was thinking of going back either this summer or next in an attempt to rescue her but there are a lot of risks involved with it. If I could get it past the exit border into Kyrgyzstan then happy days.

Has anyone on here ever attempted to get a vehicle out of Kazakhstan after it's customs document ran up?

Try a visit to an Kazakhstan embassy to sort out the paperwork before you enter Kazakhstan. Explain your problem and ask for a new customs document.
