Documents received when entering Kazachstan
 

Hello,
I would be interested if there is any document one receives if he enters Kazakhstan with a vehicle (motorcycle)?
And if this needs to be returned when leaving the country?

A quick response would be highly appreciated

From which country?

If you enter from Kirgistan or Russia, you don't get anything because you got it already in one of this countries.
Its a custom Union.

If you enter from China or Uzbekistan, you need a TIP

I will enter from China.

I crossed the stands this year and was given a TIP or T6. Do not lose it or you wont be able to leave with your bike. Not difficult but it helps if you have google translate on your phone as main foreign language is Russian.

Advice:

Always take a picture of the papers you get.

If you loose a paper, you still can show the picture !!

Also, when you get stamped out of the customs union, take a photo of the completed document, as it's not unknown for them to lose it and then you get Russian customs writing to you demanding import duty for the bike!
