Dumping/selling broken car in Kazakhstan
 

Posting on behalf of my brother who has met an end with his car (subaru forester) in Kazakhstan.

If he is to dump it or sell it for scrap, how does he clear it with customs when he leaves the country?

We have a similar situaiton we are currentlu in Kyrgystan making our way to Kazakhstan and flying back home. We will need to either sell the car, scrap it or ship it. our favourite option currenlty is to sell it as it is expesnive to ship it back to Europe and it has been a good car! Many thanks for your help.
