financal planning for a trip througout Asia and Russia
Hello! We are just beginnig to plan a travel starting in Germany, destination lake Baikal, via Turkey, the caspian sea, Mongolia. All the way back, we want to cross Siberia/Russia wether by bike or by train (Transsib'). We want to start in a year. Can anyone, who perhaps has travelled by a similar route, give any information about the budget such a trip will take, and also the time which will be necessary (we want to take time, do you think one year would be a good estimation)??? Thanks for any hints!

Hi Ulli,
try the site of Sybille and Marco, http://www.sima.li/5_sima/i_faq.htm#reisefinanzen They rode about the same way you want to, but went on to Japan and South America thereagter and paid about CHF 20.000,- per person and year (including flights to South America) Regards Lars |
I just came back from a one-year trip through russia, korea and south america, and as i'm looking for a job now, i've got lots of time to answer your questions :-)

Hallo Ulli
Is ja bezahlbar. Die Uebernachtung geht von 0,00 Euro (Zelt oder Einladung) bis 150U$ wennze dich schlecht fühlst. In Moskau eher 450U$, höhö. Sprich, deine Frage kannst du dir auf der Strasse nur selbst beantworten. Goetz |
Alles klaro, man kann sich ja so ganz ungefähreinen durchschnitt errechnen. was heißt denn jetzt Vlad Y Vostok...?

Hi Ulli
Vlad y Vostok means literally king and east. That´s at least what the russians said to me Goetz ------------------ ïóòü = öåëü |
