HELP: Motorcycle stuck in Moscow garage
My motorcycle has now been stuck in a Moscow garage for 5 days now, I am really now getting worried about it.
The reason they say they can't get the motorcycle out is because they haven't paid their rent and the landlord has blocked the garage with a truck. They have been putting me up in a hostel but its now getting too much, my motorcycle has practically been stolen for the last few days and I really want to crack on. Do I get the police involved? Or find the number for the British embassy and call them? Or just wait it out. The garage is called mud factory and their website is mudfactory.ru... They seem like ace guys and have had a glowing review from Bruce smart just before I got here which is why I used them. Any help will be much appreciated. My email is robertfothergill2004@yahoo.co.uk. Phone number 07596049058. And will be checking this thread for the next hour and a half. Thanks in advance |
Just a thought, have you tried to find out who the landlord is and contacting him directly with a plea for your bike?
Letting the embassy know of your plight might be helpful especially if they could assist with the above idea. |
No I haven't but the mechanic has and apparently they don't speak English. Maybe I could do this through the embassy. Maybe get the phone number and call them directly.
I'll be going down to the embassy in about an hour, any more thoughts? |
For now it seems that they will be reopening tomorrow and I will have my dear motorcycle back at about 3 o'clock. Fingers crossed.

I just saw this, let us know if you're not free by tomorrow.

Got the bike back, was genuinely locked up by the landlord. I have my motorbike back and all my accommodation paid for and the work done for free.
And a free bottle of yamalube |
