Japan CPD question
 

Hi
I have got today info from Polish Automobil Association that it is not obligatory to have CPD in Japan. It is possible to enter Japan with temporary permit.
About 6 months ago answer was that I need CPD.

Do anyone know something new about it?

It can be difficult to do something when I will be 10 000 km from Poland in Wladywostok:mchappy:

Unless there has been a change very recently, a Carnet is recommended.
Yes, it is possible sometimes to get in with a temporary permit if you arrive by ferry.
However, the customs officer at the port can decide not to give a temporary import permit.
Having a Carnet means less risk of being rejected.
