Japan earthquake
Hope everyone who comes to this forum with help and advice is OK. Needless to say that our thoughts are with everyone who has been so badly affected.
|
Thank you Roger.
As far as I know, most of the overlander community is unaffected. I will post any news that I get. It is not riding season yet, so I don't think there are any travelers here yet. The ferries from Russia arrive at areas unaffected, so I don't anticipate any major disruptions to travel this season except on the northeast Pacific coast. It has only been a couple days, so it is too soon to tell right now. |

We are in touch Mr.Kazunori Fujimoto who was here in istanbul 3 months ago. (Ezine last issue.) |
The dignity and the composure shown by the Japanese people in facing this huge tragedy is really with no limits.
My maximum respect to the entire people of Japan and my condolences to who lost his own beloved ones. |
All this destruction, combined with the nuclear meltdown alert, really is a horrific nightmare far beyond anyone´s realm of imagination.
One can only hope and pray, that first of all, they will, in the end, succeed in containing that radiation. My thoughts are with the people of Japan. |
