Please, somebody know if the “Karamyk/Jirigital - Daroot Korgan” Border Crossing between Kyrgyzstan & Tajikistan still closed to foreigners? :helpsmilie:

I did made my route to my next trip from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan and come back, but just yesterday i found some information about this Border Crossing is not allowed to foreigners... :oops2: and Now I have to modify part of the route depending on whether this border crossing is closed or not.

2017 and 2018 it was definitely not open, and Caravanistan says it is still only for Residents.

You can use Batken Border between Osh and Quhjand

As far as I know, its still not open. KG and TJ border guards were shooting each other just a few months. There is still plenty of tension there. Dont hold your breath for things to open rapidly. https://eurasianet.org/four-killed-i...n-border-clash
