I would like to Kazakhstan by driving on the fastest way from Kyrgyzstan to Russia via Almaty, Balqash, Karaganda, Astana Petropavl about 1700 km at the 24.07.2014.
Is the route mainly paved or in good condition?
Submit five days of this?
How often do I get there gasoline?
Are there any tips to stay?

I rode the Symkent-Taraz-Balqash-Karaganda-Astana-Kostanay-Miass (RU) two up on a Honda Dominator in 2010.

4 days

No problem with fuel

Mostly paved (in 2010 there was a non paved 80kms section just north of Astana, I suppose it's paved now)

I remember a very friendly Gostiniza in the village of Esil...
