Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Osh & Samarkand

I believe there is a border crossing on the road between Karakol and Namangan, can anyone pinpoint its location please?

Also, any suggestions for secure parking in Osh, and hotels/guest houses on the route to Samarkand, that will take a 7m long x 3.3m high truck?

There is a crossing in Uch-Kurgan, should be here (google maps coordinates)

It was open last year and it should still be open

There are Hubb members in Osh. Will send you a nice guest house in Osh 10 mintues from the border.

We don't actually need accommodation in Osh, just somewhere relatively safe to park the truck for a couple of days.

Still looking for hotels/guesthouses along the route to Samarkand from Osh that will let us stay in their parking lots.
