Update
Thanks man. Was jusr at the right time. Got ovr the pass today. Getting better though. Bridge Ak-Tal still under construction.

Will the bridge be ready in August?
I want to go the way from Son Kul to Osh |
Can't you take the path North of the river so you don't have to take the bridge at Ak tal?
Coming from Osh, at Karabulun, there is a track going north side of the river. This ends up north of Ak tal. This is what we want to do, and hearing that the bridge is closed we will definetely do that. Somewhere in July maybe. |

Drove northern route today. You don't need the bridge therefore from Song Köl.
The bridge is passable by foot and by Motorbike. Attachment 21077 Attachment 21078 Attachment 21079 Attachment 21080 |

Do you mean the bridge? I meant the track on North side of river and we drive a van :)
|
Last year we were too lazy  to take off the baggage from the bikes to pass the concrete blocks, and just followed the road north of the river until Naryn.
A lot of dust ! |

I'm pretty sure the one going west is ok. As for the one going east, I never rode it, but from what rombodituono just posted, it looks like it was doable... |
So this bridge looked completely okay again. We came from Kazarman and turned left to Song Kul so we did not cross it, but it was open for everything again.
All the roads were pretty good. A lot of annoying washboards, but even normal fuel trucks are taking the road from Jalalabad to Kazarman. Nothing 4wd specific. |
