M41 Khorog/wakham/Bulunkul/Alichur
 

hello,
if in 2015 the borders of Tajikistan will open I will wish to "make again the M41"

I am looking for information on the time to go through the corridor Wakham.

Another wish there was there any bikers who went to Bulunkul (near Alichur)
hence it is possible to reach Alichur with big motorcycle (like 1200GSA) or 4x4 .There is a small track that going to through AK JAR and after Alichur
It is marked on the map a Geyser. is this the case?


It's possible for all national to cross the border Taj/China at Kulma pass? (near Murghab?

Good to hear you will be back in the region.

The track from M41 to Bulunkul is very wide and good. From Bulunkul to the small geyser is for experienced riders like you no problem. It has some rough passages, but is impressive. We do it even with our not so experienced clients every year. The 4x4 follows no problem.

Taj/China at Kulma pass is closed for all tourists, only open for trucks.

You can quietly ride a sidecar along the M41, as i've rode it all the way on a Harley from Dushanbe to its end at Kara Balta (Kyrgyzstan) , including the worst section from Obigarm to Kalaikhum, wich is totally unpaved, rocky, steepy, sandy and wildly amazing.
