Mongolia: Tyre recommendations
 

Any tyre recommendations for 2up on a KTM 950S through Mongolia?
Is a TKC70 sufficient or should it be a bit more offroad oriented?
Do I have to expect sandy parts as soft, deep sand, tough as in Africa?

Personally I would use TKC80, Mitas E09 or similar.

You can expect sandy parts, but not as deep as African sanddunes.
more like just a bit or sometimes 10cm deep.
Bur it changes and it depends where you drive.
