This is probably already know on this part of the HUBB but I wanted to add my two cents....

Patrik is the real deal. Very helpfull and knowledgeable. There was an array of rental 650's for his tours of the Pamirs', also every make and model of overland bike make their way through his palce. Some are merely stored for months stored neatly under cover, like mine was, others are in the process of being completely reassembled after a wreck.

If you need a tour, go there. If you need work done on your bike or parts, go there. Through his network he can source just about anything. If you don't need anything but a cup of coffee and some local knowledge, go there.

It's one of those places in the world where you think you're on your own in the middle of nowhere and you're completely screwed, but in actual fact, you're not.
