Propane filling in Moscow/Russia
 

Hi. We are leaving St Petersburg now after failing to get our 3.9 kg propane tanks refilled. They are from Calor gas in England. We almost got lucky at a place called AR3C, but the convertor the had was worn out or not the right size.

Any advice on where to fill it?

Any АГЗС (AGZS - Ah Ge Ze Es) would be my first port of call. They are just a gas filling station, gas as in gas (LPG I assume), not as in gasoline. АГЗС just is an abbreviation for gas refueling station.

Ask locals for a "GAZovaya zaPRAVka" (emphasis on the capitals).
