Russia to Georgia crossing

Just wondering if anyone has gone through recently. Currently in Mongolia and will be heading for Russia through Volgograd and then into Georgia.

We did it from Georgia to Russia 3 days ago. No problems other than a few bits of really bad road which are being rebuilt after previous disasters. Jvari Pass is completely clear and all snow has been cleared. 4km queue of trucks on the Russian side of the border but that won't affect you unless you're in a 44 tonner!

I've met a group of Russian bikers in Armenia 2 days ago. They told me the border south of Vladikavkaz is open. I will cross it myself in a few days, Geo to Rus
