Self driving China
 

Hello everyone,

This is my first post on this forum.

I am a French traveler heading to Mongolia and in October/November 2025, I would like to travel across China, self driving and without any tour guide.

I am making this thread to know if anyone has done it recently and if anyone has contact details for Chinese customs brokers (which are necessary to do the temporary import, temporary license plates etc).

Many of us would like to do that, but unless you are resident in China and have a Chinese vehicle, it seems still to be impossible.
