Turk Consulate Istanbul update - Aug 2017
 

I have just been today to apply for a transit visa here in Istanbul but i have been requested to apply for it in Iran. Istanbul does not issue except to Turkish nationals or legal residents.
As it is on my way anyway, will try Ankara before Teheran or eventually Mashhad.

This year I met so many travellers, who got refused for the Turkmen Transit Visa.

Including myself.

Not even at the embassy in TGeheran people got the visa.

They say it takes 10-14 days, and people are waiting more than 3 weeks to be refused.

Even it happens, that a couple applys, the man gets it, the woman not.....
