Using 2 passports btwn Kazakhstan & Russia: any problem?
 

Is there any issue entering and exiting Kazakhstan on passport A and entering Russia from Kazakhstan with passport B?

We are German & English passport holders with 2 passports from our respective countries, not dual nationality.

Chinese officials were a bit confused when we used this option, but we were quickly stamped in after a quick check with the boss.
Going from Georgia to Azerbaijan they asked to see our onward visa, but had no problem in seeing 2 passports each in our hands.

Our saving grace might be that one of the passports is now full (?)

If anyone has any tips, love to hear.

I had an argument with Mongolians about having left Russia on a different passport that I was trying to enter Mongolia with but after an half an hour of arguing, including me insisting the guys call UB for clarification if they didnt believe me, they relented.
