BBC News - Visa and MasterCard block Russian bank customers

Now, I am not sure how to read this but it looks like Visa and Mastercard are limiting services in Russia.

Visa and MasterCard have blocked credit card services to some Russian bank customers as a result of US sanctions.

Im not sure if this will effect travellers or not at the ATM but I thought it was worth posting for those in or heading to Russia this year.
