I will email you pics of front & back of registration and front and back of immigration card - the immigration card twice as big when you get it in it's form of "Arrivals Card" It has the left hand side for completion about your arrival - this is detached by immigration down the perforsated centre leaving you with a stamped departure card which you must keep with your passport at all times and give to immigration when you leave Russia presumably so the authorities can match the in with the out. I have photographe against passport and a $10 bill so you can get the dimensions. Love to Pia, keep following us on the blog Round the World in 80 Ways Martin |
Hello
I've just read through this thred, but i'm still confused. I've entered Vladivostok two days ago and will leave hopefully on friday (so less than 7 days) and am not planning in staying more than 1 night at one place, camping or cheapest motel. Well the guy from the hostel where I'm staying, says I only need to register when staying longer than 7 days, so I will not need to register at all. ???? Do you need to register at a place only when staying more than 7 working days so the russians know that you are there or do you have to register every 7 days so they know in their computer system where you are right now ? Is there a logic behind this other than hassle tourist for bribes? sushi |

keep your tickets when you buy gas or other things to proof that you were every day on a different place
