Vladivostok to Anchorage (again!)

Hi All

I have a couple of friends heading East (currently in Irkutsk) needing information on the Vladivostok to Anchorage situation. They are travelling by motorcycle.

Any information regarding this would be much appreciated - they have also heard that they need a 'special visa' to enter the States (USA) ... anyone know if this is the case?

'Poor Circulation': Riding Around The World, ....................... on £20 per Day

There plan is to ship from Vladivostok to Anchorage - by air I guess - any other suggestions?
