Met him in 2005 in Russia somewhere between Chita und Chabarovsk in the middle of nowhere. Tough old man on bicycle - his tent had been stolen but he would not give up his trip across Russia, sleeping in huts at bus stops or at some other sheltered place. Except that these places would not keep him protected from siberian Mosquitos.
We had only one afternoon, but he made a deep impression on me. |
I'm so sorry
What an impression this man made on me when I read his journey through central America.
I hope he did not suffer too much. |
